A multidisciplinary team led by landscape architect Michael Van Valkenburgh has won an international competition to reshape the area surrounding Eero Saarinen’s iconic Gateway Arch. • Football snaps losing streak. The Bears snapped a two-game losing streak with a 36-6 win over Westminster College Sept. 25 at Francis Field. WUSTL led 10-0 at halftime, and then erupted for 26 points in the second half en route to the victory.
